Stampin' Up! Happy Celebrations - Coffee & Cards Easter Project

Hello, here are the details of the second project for this week using two fabulous sets; Happy Celebrations and Basket Bunch.

It was my friends little boy who came up with the idea of using the bunny over the 'A' - what a clever thing he is!

Have you seen this brilliant stamp set - the large words are so useful, especially when you add one of the smaller ones, either from this set or any other you may have!

Can you see the splodge on the right hand side?  One of my lovely crafty ladies on Tuesday decided we should call it a puddle and she is right - it does look like a puddle!  I will be using this puddle a lot as my all time favourite stamp set Gorgeous Grunge is on the retirement list :(

I used the 'puddle' to decorate envelope and the inside of the card.

After I had made my sample card I realised that perhaps the pattern on the DSP should have been the other way - but no one seemed to mind!  On the card below I used a grass stamp from the Sheltering Tree stamp set.

I also offered the card with an alternative background DSP colour ...

On the card shown above I also used a different 'HAPPY' stamp and I also used the grass stamp that comes with the Basket Bunch stamp set.

Stampin' Up! are so clever - can you see the two little chicks?  You can stamp them facing left or right (and die cut them out too), there are also two tiny stamps in this set so that you can stamp their legs facing in the right direction!

I used Stampin' Write Markers to colour in the chicks and the rabbit.

Here are both cards, as usual I like them both!

I have a busy weekend planned and of course there will be chocolate involved. I am also planning to spend some time crafting and preparing samples for my catalogue launch party and BOGOF sale on the 2nd June (I will post more details nearer the time).  If you would like to join me please let me know as soon as possible.

Next week for Coffee & Cards there will be no session on Monday as it is a Bank Holiday in the UK.  We will be using another bundle from the Spring Summer Catalogue - Birthday Blast.

If you look on the retiring list you will see that the stamps have a 15% discount and the coordinating Star Blast Edgelits have a 30% discount - be quick if you want them as once they are gone they will not be back!
