Stampin' Up! Carols of Christmas - quick & simple

Hello, here are the details of our first card this week using Carols of Christmas.  My favourite image in this gorgeous bundle is the little dear!

How cute does he look cut from silver foil?

Once again I used my favourite dies - Stitched Shape Framelits to create my background panel - I just can't seem to stop using them!

I used the Pretty Pine Thinlets to cut some branches to sit behind the panel for a pop of colour.

The Merry Little Christmas DSP looks so elegant and sophisticated.  I have made sure that I have a couple of packs in reserve for me; several of the papers will be useful all year round.

I used one of my favourite Teeny Tiny Sentiments - gotta love a tiny sentiment but I will have a selection with me for you to choose from as I know of at least one of my crafty ladies that won't use Merry Christmas.

Here is the completed card and envelope.  We decorated the inside and the envelope with the pine boughs from the Christmas Pines stamp set.

I have two further Coffee & Cards sessions available this week if you would like to join me to make this and another project, you can find the details here.

I will be bringing these lovely ladies with me along with the new Stampin' Blends pens for you to try all week.  You can choose which colours to use and take your panel home with you to make a card.  If you post a picture on my facebook page, the card with the most 'likes' will win a duo pack of the pens you used to colour the dress and hat with!  Closing date is the 4th November - why not ask your friends and family to vote for you?  Good luck!
