Stampin' Up! Merry Patterns quick & simple

Hello, I'm really enjoying using the Merry Patterns stamp set this week - these reindeer's look fabulous in their jumpers!

For this card we used the outline stamp with black Memento and stamped in the detail using Soft Suede then a little bit of fussy cutting (not too difficult) to cut him out.

Looking at the photo above, I am wondering if I need to add an eye with a black pen ... what do you think?

I designed these cards with male recipients in mind so not too much glitter and sparkle - just  a little underneath the deer so he does not look like he is floating.

I scuffed the edges of the white and black panels - some of my crafty ladies can't bring themselves to make scruffy cards; so they don't!

The sentiment in this set is very clever, its a two step stamp.  The outline is stamped first and the the inside decoration is stamped in Old Olive - very clever indeed.

This is another card that would work in so many different colour combinations.

I have two further Coffee & Cards sessions available this week if you would like to join me to make this and another project, you can find the details here.

Hope you can join me for some crafty fun soon.
