Stampin' Up! Star of Light - quick & simple

Hello, here are the details of the first project this week using Star of Light.

I am really enjoying using this unusual colour combination this week.

I took two different versions of this card with me and gave my crafty ladies the choice of which they would like to make.

Here is the Tranquil Tide version as usual, we decorated the inside of the card and the envelope.

Here is the Lemon Lime Twist version.

Which would you choose - Tranquil Tide or the Lemon Lime Twist?

Looking at both cards side by side I think I prefer the Tranquil Tide version but, that could change!

The background panel was embossed with the Soft Falling TIEF.  Whenever we use this particular folder there's a discussion on which way up the falling 'dots' should go.  I'm afraid the jury is still out on this!!

We were so busy chatting this morning that we almost forgot to add the ribbon to our embossed panels.

We then die cut the three stars from a smaller panel and added a little stamping.

We added some silver foil behind the die cut elements for some Christmas sparkle and, if you wanted even more sparkle you could add some glitter and jewels along the swirly background image - you know who you are Louise!
