Stampin' Up! National Craft Month Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the National Craft Month Blog Hop hosted by Janet Wakeland.  If you are joining me straight from Esther's post thank you for hopping on over.  If you are starting with me, welcome - grab a cuppa and have fun hopping with us, don't forget to leave comments (we like that)!

Our theme this month is anything crafty made with current Stampin' Up! products.  I decided to use a stamp set called You're Priceless that can be found on page 160 of the Annual Catalogue and, I have to confess it has been sat on my shelf unused since July 2017!

Whilst wandering around Pinterest recently I came across a tutorial that I really wanted to try by an Australian Demo called Di Barnes.  Its a note card holder made from a single sheet of 12 x 12 DSP (or card) and, can you believe, no cutting or gluing required!

Armed with a single sheet of Oh So Eclectic DSP I got to work - I amended Di's instructions slightly so that I could fit four note cards and envelopes inside.  So instead of scoring at 6", I scored at 5 3/4" and 6 1/4" to create a gusset.

Here is my completed wallet- shown closed.

Here is the inside of the wallet.

Of course once I had made the wallet I had to make something to put inside didn't I?

The You're Priceless stamp set coordinates with two of the dies in the Eclectic Layers Thinlits (top left) which were perfect for my project!

I had some fun with different combinations of stamps and die cuts ...

Finally, I decided to use these jewels for my cards.

I kept the dimension on my cards to a minimum so that I could fit four cards into the wallet.

The sentiments in You're Priceless are perfect for those occasions when you want tell someone they are brilliant or doing a great job.

These simple cards were very quick to make, the addition of some jewels provided a final sparkly finishing touch.

The envelopes were also stamped with a jewelled border to coordinate with the note cards.

These little wallets are perfect for all sorts of occasions - you could put anything in them from gift cards to a set of note cards and envelopes like I have here.

I would definitely recommend you having a go at making these wallets - they could be addictive (sorry).  Thanks again to Di for the brilliant tutorial too.

Thanks for looking at my blog today - be sure to hop over to Tricia (using the link below) to see what she has been up to.

Happy hopping!

Susan xx
