Stampin' Up! Picture Perfect Birthday - quick & simple

Hello, here are the details for our first project this week using Picture Perfect Birthday.  My post is a a little late this week due to technical problems - thank goodness my daughter was able to fix the problem for me!  I spent 48 hours without access to my blog, emails and facebook - it was quite liberating!

These cards are really quick and simple to make - perfect for when you need a card in a hurry.

I took a stack of Picture Perfect Party DSP with me and a paper trimmer so that everyone could choose their favourite background.

These 6 x 6" papers are so bright and colourful - one side has photographic images of everything you need for a party and the other, gorgeous coordinating backgrounds.

There was also the choice of background card colour - my crafty ladies had fun yesterday and today choosing their favourites.  The current favourite is Bermuda Bay ...

The background panel has been embossed with the Simple Stripes TIEF for a bit of texture and dimension.

Top Tip - ribbon scraps
The Berry Burst ribbon was a small scrap left from another project that has been tied in the middle with the Bakers Twine.  The ends have been frayed deliberately too to add some texture.  This is a really good way to use up scraps of ribbon!

Lots of lovely variations of this project have been made already this week - my crafty ladies are getting so clever at going 'off piste'!
