Stampin' Up! Waterfront - stepped up

Hello, here are the details of the second project this week using a stamp set called Waterfront.

The artsy detail you can achieve very easily with these stamps is amazing - I am definitely going to be using it again soon!

I stamped the water on this card first, creating an horizon and working from there.  The layering of the various stamps creates depth and the splodges bring everything together.  You just can't go wrong with these stamps and the colour variations are endless.  The trees and the splodges would be very useful for dare I say, Christmas cards (sorry)!

Although I used a retired die set (On Film Framelits) for my frame it would be very easy to recreate using a rectangle of cardstock and a square die ...

The background DSP is from Delightful Daisy - the perfect colour for this project - the variations on the paper create a sort of Northern Lights effect don't you think?

The white stamped square was adhered to the DSP.  The frame has been 'lifted up' using the Foam Adhesive Strips.

These fabulous strips can be found on page 203 of the Annual Catalogue - primarily used for shaker cards, they were perfect for this project!

The inside and the envelope were stamped to coordinate too.
