Craftyduckydoodah! May Updates

Hello and welcome to May!  Such an exciting time of the year in the world of Stampin' Up! and for me personally too.  I have two family birthdays and of course the upcoming Town and District Elections!  Last May I was hopeful that my new kitchen was almost finished.  Roll forward 12 months and issues are still ongoing - SIGH but some progress is being made to resolve issues.  In other news, Keith and I will be getting married in June 2023!  So, as usual here is all the information you need in one place.

New Catalogue

Copies have been collected and posted out - I just have two more to pop in the post tomorrow. If you haven't got yours yet or you would like a copy please let me know.  Items are available to order from Tuesday 3rd May!

I will be placing an order on Thursday 5th May.  If you are local to me and able to collect I am as always, happy for you to piggyback my order to save on postage.  However, due to increased delivery costs, going forwards there will be a £1 contribution towards delivery for each order.  

Raffle Tickets

Each copy of the new catalogue has a hidden raffle ticket inside.  Once you find it, keep it safe as there are prizes to be won!  Winners will be announced on the Craftyduckydoodah! facebook page on the 15th May.

2022 - 2024 In-Colours

I have had several request to run and In-Colour Club again this year.  I will share details later this week so keep an eye on my facebook page!

Workshops/Craft Sessions

New Horizons Catch up Session - Saturday 7th May, 2:00pm - 4:30pm

I have agreed to hold a catch up session for my friend Lesley who was unfortunately unable to join us last Saturday.  I have one additional plac2 available - let me know if you would like to join us, first come first served!

Here is a photo of my lovely friend Karen with the stunning cards she made - note the coordination of hair, outfit and completed projects!

We will be creating 4 cards with decorated envelopes using a variety of techniques designed to showcase the stunning New Horizons DSP and suite of products.

Cost: £20 (includes a full pack of Pebbles Enamel Shapes (£7) and 1/2 pack of DSP (£5.38).

Bonus Project

For the lovely ladies who joined me last Saturday, there is the option to join this session too to work on the project we did not have time to make because we were all to busy chatting and eating cake (thank you Selina)!

Optional extra - £8 use of my stamps, inks and dies to create a stunning shadow box frame (choice of black or white frame) using the DSP as a background.

I have finished my project and am rather pleased with it!  Just let me know you are coming and whether you would like a white of black shadow box frame.  Don't forget to bring your DSP and pebbles with you as you will need them!

Coffee & Cards is back!

Well, back but with a slightly different format!  Unfortunately as a consequence of Covid and lockdown, my usual venue is no longer available.  However, I have lots of space in my kitchen so am able to restart sessions at home again.

Each session will have a different focus, it could be a technique, a particular bundle or suite of products or perhaps even a special request session - I'm open to ideas and suggestions!  We will be making a variety of projects, cards, gift boxes/bags etc.

The cost of each session will be £10 but if you place an order on the day of £35 or more there will be no charge for the craft session!  I will also provide light refreshments.

The first session will take place on Tuesday 17th May at 2pm. We will be using a new stamp and die bundle called Sending Smiles.  We will be using the blending brushes, the new In-Colours and doing a spot of silhouette stamping!  Further dates will be added shortly.

All you have to do is bring your preferred adhesives and a basic tool crafty toolkit with you if you have one.  

Just let me know you would like to come along so I can prepare a kit for you.

Garden Greenhouse Workshop 

Saturday 21st May - 2pm - 4:30pm

Monday 23rd May - 7pm - 9:30pm

I received so many lovely comments and requests asking to make the little greenhouse treat box that I made for a recent blog hop.  I will be offering two workshops to recreate it and two cards using Garden Greenhouse bundle.

Cost of the workshop is £22 and includes a full pack of the lovely Brushed Brass Butterflies (£9.50).

For all classes/workshops:

Please ensure you book asap to avoid disappointment.  For all classes and workshops please bring basic craft tools with you (bone folder, scissors etc) if you have them and your preferred adhesives. A limited supply of adhesives will be available to purchase if you run out or forget!  

Classes take place at my home in Godmanchester unless otherwise stated.

Full payment is the only way to guarantee your place as regretfully, I have been let down in the past saving places for people who have not attended. No refunds unless I cancel the event. If for any reason you are unable to attend I will do my best to find someone else to take your place but can't guarantee to do so.

Thank you Gifts

My offer of free ribbon during April proved to be quite popular!  I have been having a clear out of my craft room - I seem to issues around hoarding ribbon!  I have lots of ribbon left so the offer of a free reel (your choice) from my retired stock will continue during May too.  Simply place an order, either online or directly with me and I will gift you a reel of ribbon as a thank you.  Just let me know which colour you would like or whether you would prefer a surprise.  Team members who place their own orders can also choose free ribbon!

Phew, I did say there was a lot happening this month didn't I?  I will be back later this week with details of the In-Club but for now I hope you enjoying the new Catalogue and In-Colours as much as I am!
