Stampin' Up! A Little Wild - stepped up

Hello, this week I turned to the Annual Catalogue for inspiration and decided to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) the project shown on page 108.

When I first saw this card I knew I wanted to try to recreate it.  I looked at the background and wondered which set the die was from; after looking for several minutes, I realised it was in the coordinating Framelits set - doh, silly me!

If you are a regular reader of my blog, you will know I like lots of white on my projects so I made a couple of changes.

I created my background with white die cuts and a white background layer for the Old Olive card base.  I like the card in the catalogue but I LOVE this version!

The loin has been coloured with Pro Markers - they are brilliant to create colour with depth and are so easy to blend. I have seen some projects on Pinterest where the eyes on the lion have been altered but I like this little lion just like he is!

Have you seen the mini gold sequin trim I used for a bit of added interest behind the stitched shape?  The sequins are such a lovely accent, you can use them as I have or remove individual sequins.
