Stampin' Up! - Flowering Fields (SAB favourite product)
Hello, I think my favourite product from Sale-A-Bration has been the Flowering Fields stamp set.
I have had so many lovely comments about these two cards from my Coffee & Cards ladies over the last few weeks that I thought I would share them with you before they disappear. They are basically the same design but one of them had an additional step in the creative process.
I will be posting a tutorial soon to explain how I created the watercolour backgrounds using a technique that I learnt at school many, many years ago. It is such a great, quick and simple technique that looks different every time and looks like you are a great artist (I think anyway)!
After creating my background I stamped the images from this gorgeous set in Versamark Ink and heat embossed with White Stampin' Emboss Powder.
I coloured the images with my Stampin' Write Markers.
Here is the finished card:
For the second card I took things a step further and spritzed the watercolour panel with water to make the colours bleed.

After taking this photo I did wonder whether or not I needed to add more colour - so I did!
What do you think? Did it need the extra colour? Don't forget that this gorgeous stamp set is only available for the next 2 days. I have already had a customer desperate for one of the earlier SAB stamp sets (The Sky is The Limit) but once they are gone, they really are gone :(
