Stampin' Up! - Christmas Project Day
Hello, oh what fun we had yesterday! I had a group of lovely ladies join me for a Christmas Project Day Workshop. We were making up two brilliant project kits that Stampin' Up! are offering this year - Tin of Tags and Stiched with Cheer.
These are the little table favours I made for eveyone using the Curvy Keepsake Die and the Cookie Cutter Halloween stamp and punch - I found some scrummy things to put inside them too, I particularly like the Dracula one!
All set up and ready to go:
And yes, I did move my bike out of the way - unfortunately there was a small shower of rain and the leather seat was marked but I am sure that with a bit of nourishing oil and some attention all will be well!
There were Chrismas songs playing courtesy of Michael Buble and Libera to get us in the mood and lots of concentrating going on throughout the day - 18 cards are a bit of a tall order not to mention 30 gift tags!
As well as the concentration there was lots of chatting too and some of the ladies left with very inky fingers - sorry Paula ;)!!
I also held a raffle in aid of Breast Cancer Care and raised a total of £60 which is brilliant - thanks everyone.
Here are a few of the lovely messages I received afterwards:
'Thanks Susan for a relaxing day. Have been scrubbing my hands - nearly back to normal now. Also, thanks for the little gift - I will give it to my Grandaughter'. Paula
'Really enjoyed today's sessions - found the sewing very therapeutic'! Annie
'Still can't believe I made 18 cards yesterday'! Bev
'Thank you for organising such a lovely card making day - I've just eaten my chocolate pumpkin - yum'! Linda
All in all, a great day - thank you ladies!
If you would like to get together with a group of friends for a Christmas crafting session I would love you to hear from you so do get in touch. I hold workshops at various venues in the area or if there are four or more people I will come to your venue.
Thank you so much for looking at my Blog today, if you don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator I would love to be yours! If you don't have a catalogue and you would like one, please let me know and I will send one to you.
Susan xx
