Stampin' Up! Window Shopping - stepped up

Hello, my second project certainly had my crafty ladies very impressed this week - the stained glass technique is something you have to persevere with - it only looks good at the very last minute!

To colour the image you need to securely tape a piece of vellum over the back of the die cut panel as taught as possible.

You then colour with the Stampin' Write Markers on the back of the panel.

Top Tip: If you hold it up to the light you will be able to see if you have missed any spots.

At this point you are probably thinking that the colours look rather pale and dull - not very impressive at all.

This is where the magic happens.

Once coloured in, place a piece of whisper white cardstock over the back and stick down.  At this point you do need to be careful as the ink on the vellum may still be wet - once you place the card over it, try not to move it around. If you move it, some of the ink might smudge - ask me how I know this!

Once this is done what a difference - the colours seem to 'pop'!

Here is the finished card and envelope.

Next week we will be using the Oh So Succulent bundle - here is a sneaky peak of some of the 'flowers' I have been making recently (love them)!

Hope you can join me for a crafty coffee soon!
