Stampin' Up Eastern Palace Suite - stepped up

Hello, I have been joined this week by some very crafty ladies and I have loved sharing the Eastern Palace Suite with everyone!

These new products are amazing - the ladies yesterday came up with some stunning variations of my sample cards.  So inspiring!!  Sue even turned up with a jumper in a rather fetching shade that closely resembled Lemon Lime Twist!!  I have to say I am loving this colour combination; so fresh and summery.

Here is my original sample card.

I made a slightly different version on Tuesday; some additional stamping across the bottom and on this card I attached the gold thread between the sentiment and the die cut flower using Dimensionals.

This is the card I made yesterday; I changed the position of the stamped border to the top of the card.  I was tempted to add some spare sequins too but I got sidetracked by the arrival of another coffee!

I confess that I don't often use this gorgeous sequin trim - no matter how carefully I trim it I always seem to end up with tatty ends of thread showing. However, for this card I turned that attribute into a positive - I removed two or three sequins from the end of the carrier thread to make little tassels!!
