Stampin' Up! Mixed Drinks - stepped up

Hello, as there was a slightly different format to Coffee and Cards this week I thought I would show you how you can take a fairly simple card and take it to the next level.

Here is one of the cards we made this week.

Stampin' Up! UK Independent Demonstrator Susan Simpson, Craftyduckydoodah!, Mixed Drinks, Gorgeous Grunge, May 2017 Coffee & Cards Project, Supplies available 24/7 from my online store,

Its a nice simple card that is quick to make but how about a few tweaks?

A change of stamp (Gorgeous Grunge) and ink colour (Pool Party) and the background looks very different.

I decided to spruce up the glass too using the now retired Bitty Accent Punch, some Vellum, metallic thread and a sparkly jewel.  I added some Clear Wink of Stella on the froth but unfortunately it is not showing up very well in the photo.

Here are both cards together.  Which do you prefer - I could just do with a cocktail ... fortunately I am going out for dinner with my daughter; I can feel a Sea Breeze coming my way lol!!!

This is one of the things that I love about stamping - you can change and adapt things as much (or as little) as you like to make something unique every time.

Here are a selection of drinks made this week - quick and simple cards that look very effective and that are suitable for so many occasions!

If I get chance tomorrow I will do a quick post showing how I created some multicoloured cocktails!

Next week we will be using a stamp set that I have had in my stash since last year and never used - (shame on me) Paisleys & Posies.

I had a chance to play with this set earlier this week - so many possibilities, so little time!

Thank you so much for looking at my Blog today, if you don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator I would love to be yours!  If you don't have a catalogue and you would like one, please let me know and I will send one to you.

Details of the products I used to create this special card can be found below.

If you need to order any supplies, simply use my “shop with me” button or click on the catalogue links on the right. Alternatively, contact me and I would be happy to place an order for you.
