Stampin' Up! Painted Glass - quick & simple
Hello, here are the details for our first project this week using Painted Glass - a day later than usual as I have been having technical problems (again grrr)!
The focal point of this card is Graceful Glass Designer Vellum and it is quite simply stunning and, I promise it looks even better in real life!
These beautiful stianed glass images are perfect for colouring - you can create some stunning stained glass effects which is exactly what I did with this project!
I coloured the panel with the Stampin' Blends - going back to add extra colour once each layer had dried. To make the panel 'pop' I mounted it onto a piece of thick Whisper White card. The right side of the vellum has a shiny black 'embossed' look.
There are 24 sheets of 6" x 6" vellum - 2 each of 12 designs. Many of them are designed to be cut into smaller panels that are perfect for bookmarks and card fronts.
This lovely sentiment is from a stamp set called Ribbon of Courage.
My crafty ladies have so far this week come up with some stunning combinations. Here are a few of them.
I love the blank space on this version - one of my crafty ladies on Monday did a version of this using reds and greens, it looked stunning but I forgot to take a photo. Wouldn't that be lovely for Christmas?
Here is the completed card.
I have one final C & C session this week, if you would like to join me to make this and another project you can find the details here.
Details of the products I used for this project can be found below.
Hope you can join me for a crafty coffee soon.
