Stampin' Up! Painted Glass - stepped up

Hello, here are the details of the second project this week using Painted Glass.

It has been ever so hot in the UK this week; perhaps not the best time to be doing heat embossing!

These beautiful roses were heat embossed with black Stampin' Emboss Powder and the sentiment with white.

The flowers were coloured with an Aqua Painter, Melon Mambo and Old Olive inks.

We used another new item, a really useful multitasking punch on the corners of the white layer - the Trio Corner Punch.  I love items that can multitask don't you?

A patch of black card as added behind the punched corner which was then adhered to the card base with Dimensionals.

Can you see the strip of vellum peeking out from behind the panel?  I used a leftover piece and coloured it with a Stampin' Blend.

The die cut elements in this bundle are very delicate - I used two semicircles to create a circle on the Stitched Shape Framelit.

I love the mix of fonts on the sentiment - note to self, practice my brush lettering!

Here is the completed card.

Thanks to everyone who joined me this week - Bests Coffee Shop were certainly doing a roaring trade in iced smoothies!

Next week we will be using a bundle called Varied Vases at the request of Val - talk about aliteration!  There is a lovely story behind this particular bundle which I will share with you next week.

Details of the products used for this project can be found below.

Hope you have a crafty weekend.
