Stampin' Up! Dandelion Wishes - quick & simple

Hello, here are the details for our first project this week using Dandelion Wishes.

We used a favourite technique of mine to create a background.  I used this technique for my June customer thank you cards and several of my crafty ladies asked if I could show them how to do it.

You need a Stampin' Write Marker (I used Pool Party) and an 'H' block.

Scribble the marker across the block - easier and quicker if you use the fat end!

Lightly spritz (from a distance) and then 'stamp' onto your background.

Leave for a couple of seconds and then lift the block.  Everytime you do this you will get a different result - so effective and, very simple to do too - love it!"

Leave the background to dry for a few minutes before stamping the Dandelion using Coatal Cabana ink.

I used the Fine Tip Glue to add tiny dots to each seed head and then sprinkled with Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter.

Here is the completed card and envelope.  There is a lovely little stamp in this set that has a cluster of tiny seed heads.  I used it and some Pool Party ink to stamp along the edge of the envelope and the inside of the card - so pretty.

The happy birthday sentiment is from a stamp set called Detailed With Love.  These cards are quick and easy to make and would look lovely in lots of colours.

If you would like to try this technique, I have two more C & C sessions this week, if you would like to join me, you can find the details here.

Details of the products I used for this project can be found below.
Hope you can join me for a crafty coffee (or a long, cool drink) soon.

Susan xx
