Stampin' Up! Santa's Workshop - stepped up
Hello, here are the details for the final project this week using Signs of Santa.
The colour scheme is simple - Poppy Parade, Whisper White with just a touch of black. Nice and simple and just perfect for Christmas!
My crafty ladies today loved the flocking on the DSP! It was lovely to welcome Louise back who has been MIA for 6 weeks following surgery. She brought her gorgeous little boy with her so I was able to have Casey cuddles too = happy me!
The inside of the card has a panel of WW so that you can write a message. We trimmed 2cm from the front edge of the card and adhered a strip the striped DSP to the inside of the card.
Some simple stamping and a little colouring ...
For the front of the card we stamped Santa and coloured him with the Stampin' Blends.
We used Smoky Slate (Light) to add a shadow so that he does not look like he is flying.
We used the Layering Circles to create a rosette and stamped this lovely sentiment on it using Poppy Parade ink.
We used some Glimmer Paper to cut out some snowflakes and adhered to the front of the card.
Here is the completed card and envelope.
On Wednesday afternoons I run a crafty after school club; this week the children made a card using items from this Suite - they absolutely loved the flocking on the DSP!
Thanks to everyone who joined me this week - next week for Coffee & Cards we will be using a stamp set called Dashing Deer.
Hope you have a crafty weekend!
