Stampin' Up! Takeout Treats - quick & simple
Hello, for a change this week our first project for Coffee & Cards is a useful little treat box made with the Takeout Treat Thinlits.
This particular bundle has been sitting on my shelf for ages and I thought it was time I used them!
These gorgeous little treat boxes require just two die cuts - you can also use the heart and star dies to cut out tiny windows in the boxes too.
The coordinating stamps will provide sentiments for the whole year!
I cut two box pieces from Merry Merlot and then decided to add decorative panels to coordinate with the card we are making this week. There is a die for the panels too so no measuring required! I used an assortment of stamps from Joyous Noel and First Frost.
The box was so easy to assemble and very quick which is a bonus at this busy time of year.
I used a die cut tag and a sentiment. I cut a thin strip of the Merry Merlot & Copper Reversible ribbon and added some Copper Metallic Thread behind the tag for a bit of extra glitz.
I also stamped a panel for the back of the box.
I also used some of the Joyous Noel DSP to make another box - just to see what it looked like! I decorated this one with some Sprigs cut from Glimmer Paper and a lovely little banner die that has score lines so you can fold back the ends for a 3d look.
These little boxes will used as my table gifts on Christmas Eve - they will contain some of my favourite Dizzy Pralines (Hotel Chocolat), wrapped in a tissue twist.
If you are crafting with me this week you will be able to choose whether to use card stock or DSP for you box - I will bring a selection with me for you to choose from.
I have two C & C session this week, if you would like to join me to make this takeout box and a card, you can all find the details here. Don't forget that if you place a £25 plus order on Thursday you can craft for free!
Details of the products I used for this project can be found below.
Hope you can join me for a crafty coffee soon.
