Bloom By Bloom - quick & simple
Here are the details for the first project this week using a stamp set called Bloom By Bloom.
To create a background for our card we used Lovely Lipstick can and the Dot to Dot TIEF.
I love this bold textured design and the mix of straight and slightly wonky dots - I'm sure I will be using it a lot!
We used one of the Rectangle Stitched Framelits to create a panel and added 'thanks' which is another from another framelits set called Well Written.
These little punches are so much fun - the leaves are tiny and a bit fiddly; the Take Your Pick Tool made light work of placing them just where I wanted them to be.
The larger stamped flower was inked up in Calypso Coral and them we added Lovely Lipstick with a Sponge Dauber to the edges. It was then fussy cut and adhered with a Dimensional. We used once of the punches to add the centre and finished the flower off with a trio of jewels. The smalled flowers were punched from Pineapple Punch with a Night of Navy punched centre.
We used the dotty border stamp to decorate the inside (and the envelope).
Here is the completed card and envelope.
I was joined today by two new ladies; Carol and Ann who had not crafted with me before.
Cutting out the flower required a lot of concentration - they did a great job!
I have one further C & C session this week, if you would like to join me to make this card and another, you can all find the details here. Don't forget that if you place a £25 plus order on Thursday you can craft for free!
Details of the products I used for this project can be found below.
Hope you can join me for a crafty coffee soon.
