Perennial Birthday - quick & simple

I love my Monday morning Coffee & Cards sessions; such a lovely relaxed and crafty way to start the week.  This morning was especially nice (for me at least) because I did not have to go outside - its rather chilly here at the moment and we have been promised snow tomorrow!

Our first project this week using Perennial Birthday was a truly quick & simple project well, apart from the fussy cutting that is!

We were joined this morning by a new crafter; a lovely lady called Patsy who lives quite near to me.

We embossed a background for our card using the Corrugated embossing folder.

We then used the Stamparatus to stamp our sentiment onto a 2cm panel of card stock.  Both pieces were adhered to the card blank with Tombow.  Using the Stamparatus allowed each of us to decide where we wanted to position our sentiment, ensure that it was straight and perfectly stamped too - love it!

We then stamped some flowers onto card using Night of Navy ink - its not as harsh as black.

Next came the fussy cutting and then some colouring with the Stampin' Blends.

This tiny flower was a bit fiddly but it is my favourite part of this card!

Here is the competed card and envelope.

The inside of the card and the envelope have been stamped with a tiny flower and a couple of leaves and coloured with the Blends.

I'm pleased to say that Patsy enjoyed her card making and she has requested that we make a card for her husbands 80th birthday!

Both Patsy and I choose to colour our flowers in a purple combo this morning - I will take some photos to share soon.

I have two further C & C sessions this week, if you would like to join me to make this card and another project, you can all find the details here.  Don't forget that if you place a £25 plus order on Thursday you can craft for free!

Details of the products I used for this project can be found below.

Hope you can join me for a crafty coffee soon.
