Incredible Like You - quick & simple

Here are the details for our first project this week using a stamp set called Incredible Like You.

I love the detail you can achieve from two step stamping; the flowers and the stems in this stamp set are just stunning.  The flower below has been stamped with a single colour ink but we will be using two different colours for our second project this week.

The lined stamp in this stamp set is a firm favourite with me - its so useful.  For this project it was stamped across a panel of card and then we stamped two of the larger flowers at opposite 'corners'.  The other stamps in this set were then used to fill the two remaining 'corners' of the panel.

The sentiment was stamped and then punched out with the 2" circle punch and adhered onto a 2 1/4" punched circle in Daffodil Delight.  I used the smaller sprig and flowers to add some more colour around the edges of the circle.

The butterfly, well, I had a mucky splodge ... so I covered it!

I added some jewels along the body of the butterfly for a bit of sparkle.

I stamped along the edge of the inside of the card using the stems, sprigs and flower heads.  I also decorated the envelope flap in the same way.

Here is the completed card and envelope.  There is something about blue and yellow that is so striking don't you think?
