Incredible Like You - stepped up
Here are the details for our final project this week using a stamp set called Incredible Like You.
We stamped the sentiment onto a die cut stitched edge oval and then used other stamps to add extra detail/colour to the bottom edge. The oval was adhered onto a scalloped edged oval in Night of Navy.
We used a simple masking technique to stamp borders along two edges of a Whisper White panel that measures 5mm smaller than the card base.
This gorgeous flower was stamped first in Daffodil Delight and then the detail has been added with Calypso Coral ink and then fussy cut out.
A piece of gingham ribbon was wrapped around the panel and then we tied a simple knot. The panel was adhered with dimensionals.
Top Tip
You might have noticed that there is no stem for the flower head in this stamp set. I used the small sprig image to create one.
Stamp image twice, aligning the stem in the middle.
Stamp a single leaf on two of the stems.
Fussy cut - don't worry about trimming the top too neatly as it will be covered by the flower!
I placed a mini dimensional behind each leaf and tucked the end of the stem behind the ribbon. Another dimensional was used to adhere the flower.
We also stamped a decorative border on the inside of the card and the envelope.
Here is the completed card and envelope.
Thanks to everyone who has joined me this week. I just love this colour combo - very Spring like I think. Incredible Like You is a very versatile stamp set and is great for creating backgrounds. I hope I have shown that Incredible Like You can be used for much more than the project kit.
I have a very busy weekend coming up as I am going to Leeds to visit my son and to get a much needed hair cut. I will post details of the projects for next week as soon as I design them - as I often say, something will present itself!
Have a crafty weekend.
