First Frost - stepped up

Here are the details for our final project this week using a stamp set called First Frost which I am very pleased to see will still be with us in the upcoming 2019/2020 Annual Catalogue.

We used the Layered Leaves embossing folder to create a background for this project, wrapping some of this pretty Pool Party & Silver thread around for a bit of sparkle.  It was adhered it to the card front with dimensionals.

We then stamped an assortment of leaves and flowers and cut them out with the Frosted Bouquet Framelits.  The flower images were inked up with So Saffron and then a sponge dauber used to add dabbs of Calypso Coral ink on top before stamping.  We also cut some of the leaves from vellum.

We then spent some time having fun arranging and in some cases, rearranging them several times (me), before adhering to the card with Tombow.

A tiny bow was added as a finishing touch with a trio of jewels.

Any left over flowers were added to the inside of the card and the envelope.

Here are just a few of the variations of this project made by my crafty ladies today.

I like the versions without any sentiments - they will make lovely note cards.

Lots of lovely floral arrangements - I knew my crafty ladies would love to go 'off 'piste'!
