Good Morning Magnolia - quick & simple
Here are the details for our first project this week using Good Morning Magnolia.
I am loving the new In Colour Seaside Spray - I just knew I would; its such a pretty blue!
We used the Stitched Nested Labels dies to create a background for the sentiment which has been stamped using Momento ink. I used the Stamparatus as I wanted an intense black sentiment.
Using Stazon ink and Shimmery White card we stamped two flowers and cut them out with the coordinating dies.
We used an Aqua Painter to add colour to the flower. Once dry you can still see the delicate sparkle on this lovely card stock - unfortunately it is difficult to photograph!
We stamped the splodges (from a stamp set called Beauty Abounds) onto each corner of the note card and then adhered the sentiment and the flowers using dimensionals.
For the inside of the card I stamped a single magnolia and then stamped some splodges on top to add some colour - I also did the same on the envelope. This is a really useful way to add colour - perhaps when you are short on time or you don't like colouring.
