Making Christmas Bright - stepped up

Hello, here are the details for our final project this week using a stamp set called Making Christmas Bright.

We used Night of Navy ink to stamp a wreath in the bottom corner of a panel of Very Vanilla (VV) card cut 5mm smaller than the Night of Navy card base.

We then used the string of lights image to 'connect' the wreath to each side of the card.  The lights have been coloured with Stampin' Blends.

We stamped and punched out a light bulb using Night of Navy ink on a scrap of VV card.  The top part of the bulb, the filament? has been punched from Copper Foil and adhered with a dab of Tombow.

To stamp the copper highlights around the bulb first lay your bulb in the position you want it.  Using Delicata Copper stamp the halo and then add a dimensional to the back of the bulb and adhere.

We then adhered a strip of the stunning copper accented Designer Series Paper to the edge of the panel using Tombow.

The completed panel has been adhered to the card base with lots of dimensionals.

We used Fine-Tip Glue and Dazzling Diamonds glitter and also coloured some jewels with the Stampin' Blends as finishing, sparkly touches.

We added some stamping to the inside of the card, colouring the lights with the Stampin' Blends and stamping some tiny stars with Copper Delicata ink.

Thanks to everyone who joined me this week for a crafty coffee.  This particular project proved very popular!

Next week we will be using a stamp set called Sip Sip Hooray.  I have a busy weekend; I am going on a gin tour - this might just have influenced my choice of stamp sets for next week!

Have a good weekend.

Susan xx
