Sip Sip Hooray - quick & simple

Here are the details for our first project this week using Sip Sip Hooray.  This stamp set is so much fun - I'm loving all the different little additions and the variety of tipples you can create.  The only limitation is my lack of knowledge as I am not that much of a drinker.

We used my favourite Stitched Shape dies to cut two rectangles from black and WW card.  This fantastic sentiment has been stamped onto the WW panel using Gold Delicata ink. Unfortunately, given the time of year, is proving difficult to photograph the sparkly loveliness of this ink.

Both panels have been adhered to the note card with Tombow.

Now for the fun part - creating the cocktails!

The glass has been stamped using Gray Granite ink.  (I found using black too harsh and Smoky Slate ink was not the right colour either).

I used Grapefruit Grove ink for my cocktail.  I used the Shimmer Crystal Effects on top of the ink and covered with the gorgeous Ice Stampin' Glitter.  The effect reminds me of sherbet crystals that I used to buy as a child.

A sprig of rosemary, Mossy Meadow ink on Pear Pizzazz card and an orange slice, Grapefruit Grove ink and card finished off my little tipple.

We also stamped a glass on the inside of the card.

Both panels have been adhered to the note card with Tombow.

Here is the completed card and envelope.

This is a really useful card suitable for lots of different occasions and great for all year round too.

Here is a close up of an alternative card - perhaps a Martini, that I made on Monday.

Both panels have been adhered to the note card with Tombow.

My final Coffee & Cards session this week is on Thursday afternoon - you can find the details HERE.  Why not join me to make a version of this project and another one?  Don't forget to let me know you are coming so I can prepare a kit for you!  We had a brilliant mix of drinks on Monday, red, white and rose wine, champagne and a variety of cocktails too.  If there is a particular tipple you would like to create just let me know and I will bring the colours you need.

Bottoms up, cheers, slainte, prost, proost, sante, salute, et al!

Susan xx
