Hello and welcome to March!  I love this time of year, new beginnings and the arrival of pretty Spring flowers and longer days don't you?  I hope everyone is enjoying all the lovely free Sale-A-Bration items they received.  All the info you need for a crafty month can be found below.

Colour Refresh

At Stampin' Up we are all about creativity and sharing what we love.  That means providing a compelling selection of high-quality craft supplies in coordinating colours and designs. We’re always working to not only meet trends but set them. That means evaluating and even refreshing our current products - and this year we’re refreshing our complete colour collection! 

You’ll find some new friends and returning favourites among our Brights, Neutrals, Regals, and Subtles collections.  And you won’t want to miss our new 2023–2025 In Colours.  We have already had a sneaky peak at one of the new In-Colours - Boho Blue and news of the return of two of my most favourite colours; Pretty Peacock and Lost Lagoon!

For those of you who love punches you might want to have a look at page four of the above link.  The 1" and 1 3/4" circle punches are back - hurrah!  I kept mine and continued to use them.  They are so useful for little sentiments and the two sizes layer up beautifully too (I used the 1" circle punch for my wedding invites and they were a real time saver)!!

I also have my eye on a stamp and die bundle called Rhino Ready.  

I am a huge fan of open line art images as they allow you to custom colour projects any way you like.

Coffee & Cards

Every Tuesday 10:30 - 12:30pm, Godmanchester

Sessions cost £10 and include all materials, tuition and light refreshments.  The class is suitable for all level of crafters including absolute beginners.

Sessions continue to be popular and with different projects or techniques every week there is something for everyone.  I am also open to special requests, whether its a particular stamp set you would like to use, a fancy fold or technique.  Just let me know and I will see what I can do!

During February we created projects with a stamp set called Sea Turtle that proved to be very popular.  So much so that we will be using again next week to create 3 stunning projects in a choice of colours.  

I was not going to purchase this stamp set (honestly)!  However I saw a project by Kathryn Brown that completely changed my mind!  How stunning is this turtle?  Its heat embossed and water coloured so it looks really special.

Coffee  & Cards - Catch Up Session

Friday 10th March 7 - 9pm

A couple of C & C regulars are no longer able to join me on Tuesday mornings so, I have been persuaded to offer a catch up session on a Friday evening.  Keep an eye on my facebook events page HERE for all the details.  Perhaps you missed a session or you want to make more of a certain project?  Let me know and you may just be in luck!  

This month we will be creating colourful turtles like the one above.  As ever, there will be a choice of sentiments for you to choose from.  Places are already limited so if you would like to join me please let me know asap.

Workshops

Saturday 25th 2 - 4pm

Workshops this month will feature a lovely stamp and die bundle called Daffodil Daydream.  Projects are still a work in progress but I will share full details shortly.  The images and sentiments in this set are perfect for Spring and Mothers Day projects.

On a personal note, our kitchen is still not complete SIGH! Work was supposed to be completed during February but nothing happened well, apart from me getting rather cross!

The wedding invites are almost finished - why did I think it was a good idea to gild and water colour a fancy pocket fold card I don't know! The legal requirements have been taken care of, the florist and photographer sorted too so, now all I need is a DJ oh and the small matter of a frock!
