Forever Greenery Suite - Stampers Showcase Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to another Stampers Showcase Blog Hop. If you are starting here with me or joining from Dana Sullivan in the USA who keeps all us hoppers organised, welcome we have lots of fabulous projects to share with you this month.

This month our theme is gift wrap, boxes, bags and packaging.  I don't know about you but I love making little gifts and treats to for friends, customers and team members.

I decided to use items from the Forever Greenery Suite; I love the detailed stamps and the colours in the Designer Series Paper (DSP).  This little box full of goodies will be on its way to a friend who has been shielding since March and I know she will make good use of the contents.

Here is my project:
A pretty gift box suitable for many different occasions.  You can see a tutorial for how I made the box here and decorated the lid here.

Of course, no box would be complete without contents would it?  I love to get inky fingers and enjoy creating watercolour backgrounds for my projects, each one turns out differently and the results are always a happy surprise.

The colours I used:

The notecards:
This is one the cards I created; a simple watercolour background and a stamped panel and sentiment.  I love to scuff edges and add some sparkle to my projects.

The gift box contains 4 note cards with coordinating envelopes.

The mini cards:
These little 3 x 3" cards can either be used as a gift tag or a mini note card.

I scuffed the edges of each panel but resisted adding jewels for some strange reason (I might revisit and add some)!

The Gift Tags:
I also created a set of coordinating gift tags too.

Unfortunately the ribbon I ordered that belongs to the Forever Greenery Suite has not yet arrived but this lovely reversible ribbon was just perfect for the tags.

The completed project:
So, here is the gift box and the contents.  An indulgent project for me because it uses all my favourite colours.  The projects are really quite simple to put together and I have some many more ideas for this lovely suite of products.  Unfortunately there is an item missing from the Annual Catalogue - time, if you find it let me know!

Craftyduckydoodah, Forever Greenery Suite, Forever Fern, Stampin' Up, Stampers Showcase Blog Hop,

Thanks for hopping along with us, please do take the time to leave comments as you hop around with us - we love to hear what you think of our projects.

Next up is Stephanie Nash from Canada who I am sure has lots of inspiration to share with us.

Details of the products I used for this project can be found below.

Happy crafting!
