Forever Greenery - decorated box lid
Here is the project:
The colours I used:
Thank you so much for looking at my Blog today, if you don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and you live in the UK, I would love to be yours!
If you need to order any supplies, simply use my “shop with me” button or click on the catalogue links on the right. Alternatively, contact me and I would be happy to place an order for you.
If you would like a copy of either of the current Annual Catalogue let me know and I will pop one in the post for you. If you prefer, you can view an online version by clicking the link to the right of this post. Also, the August - December mini catalogue will be available very soon - if you would like a copy of either catalogue, let me know!
Would you like to receive a FREE gift from me? All orders placed directly with me or online receive a handmade card from me as a thank you but did you know that all orders over £20 (excluding postage) will receive a gift from me too? If you use the current Hostess Code I will pop something in with your order or post directly to you. (Please remember to allow me to access your contact details otherwise I won't be able to contact you).
If your order is over £150 please don't use the code as you will receive your own Stampin' Rewards. You will still receive a card and a gift from me.
If you are local to me and can collect, I’m happy for you to piggyback one of my orders to save on postage.
Thank you for shopping with me and supporting my business.

The background:
I used a favourite technique of mine, I'm not sure what it is called but it creates a lovely watercolour effect background that is different every time!
Transfer ink from ink pads or you can use markers and reinkers if you prefer onto your chosen stamping block. Spritz with clean water and 'stamp' onto your card stock. Hold for a few seconds and watch all the colours mix and mingle (I like this part)!
Wait for the card to dry or, if you are impatient you can use a heat tool. I stamped a few splodges using Pretty Peacock ink.
The stamping and die cutting:
I stamped a selection of leaves and cut out with the coordinating dies.
To Assemble:
Scuff the edges of the panel - I am a scuffer but I know lots of people do not like to scuff edges.
Adhere the stamped (and scuffed) panel to the lid using double sided tape.
Decide which leaves you want to use and attach using Tombow and dimensionals. I always curl and shape leaves for extra dimension. I add a little bow adhered with a mini glue dot and three jewels for a bit of sparkle.
The finished project:
Whilst editing this photo it occurred to me that you could also make a card with the panel too, perhaps adding a sentiment ...
Sneaky peak:
Of course all boxes need something to put inside them don't they? Here is a peak of what I put in the box.
I am joining another Hopping Around The World Blog Hop this weekend where I will be sharing all the details of the box contents!
Happy crafting.
