Watercolour Wings goes to a wedding!

Hello, I am sharing a very special card I made today for a fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Michelle Shuttleworth.  We have been friends on facebook for several months but haven't actually met as she lives in Germany.  I made the card several weeks ago but could not share in case she saw it before her wedding!

I knew it would have to be something special and I spent ages on Pinterest looking for ideas.  I finally decided on a pocket card using the Watercolour Wings stamp set which is my current favourite!

The pocket was really easy to make (there is a really good tutorial on one of my Pinterest boards here); I decided to use mini staples instead of sticking the edges and I used the Lovely Lace embossing folder on just the front of the pocket.

Here is the pocket front:

I used the Fun Frames embossing folder which I had not used before on some of the new thick A4 Whisper White card stock and cut it out - here is the card inside:

I really like this style of card as you have both the front of the pocket and the card on the inside to decorate and it is a little different not to have an envelope!

Michelle and her husband Jorg loved the card and I am pleased to say that it arrived in Germany undamaged - phew!

Thanks for looking at my Blog, details of the products I used for this project can be found below. Don't forget to check out the Updated Weekly Deals.  I will be send out the new Autumn/Winter catalogues next week, if you would like a copy just let me know.
