You Little Furball - cased from the 'cat'alogue!
Hello, I am sharing with you today a card I CASE'd (Copy and Share Everything) from the Stampin' Up! Catalogue. I needed a birthday card recently for my friend Maggie - Maggie has four gorgeous cats so I decided that a card with a cat on was called for.
On page 90 of the Stampin' Up! Catalogue is an example of a card using the You Little Furball stamp set so I took that as my starting point.
And this is my version, I didn't quite copy everything:
I also replicated the idea of the scratches at the top of the panel:
I found the hardest part of this card was to place the baker's twine in a random fashion - I'm not very good at random!
I have cats very much on my mind at the moment as I have a stray that keeps appearing in my garden - he is very shy and VERY hungry. I have him on a waiting list to be rescued by Woodgreen Animal Shelter but there is at least a two month wait. This will hopefully give me enough time to get 'Ginger' to trust me so that I can attempt to get him into a cat carrier - wish me luck! I have posted his picture on several sites to try and find his owner ...
Here he is:
Thanks for looking at my Blog, details of the products I used to make this card can be found below and if by any chance you know who this cat belongs to (a long shot I know) please contact me.
