Stampin' Up! - Bloomin' Love (take two)!
Hello, just a quick post from me today to show you what fun we had yesterday at Coffee & Cards!
Two of my regular crafters really liked this week's card when I gave them a sneaky peak last week and one of them said she would like to frame hers.
So, instead of making a card we made a picture!
This one was made by Tina:
This one was made by Louise:
Both Tina and Louise were thrilled with their pictures - thanks for taking these pictures for me - I completely forgot before you left the coffee shop!
And this is the version I made using Pool Party card and ink:
One of the things I love about stamping is that it is so versatile; we used three stamps from the Timeless Textures set to create the background. Using only two colours of ink it was very easy to create something unique with depth and texture as a backdrop for the delicate die cut heart.
I will be putting mine into a frame too and giving it to my Mum to put in her bedroom. I coloured the pearls in the centre of my flowers with a Stampin' Write Marker and this was the first time I have used the new, stunning Glitter Ribbon in Pool Party. I love it, it is so sparkly and is very easy to use for tying bows!! I have seen several ideas on Pinterest where the ends of the ribbon have been frayed to make tassels ....... watch this space!
If you would be interested in joining me, either by yourself or with a group of friends to make a picture too just let me know and I will be happy to come up with a design for you. It doesn't have to be like ours, it could be perhaps to celebrate a new baby, decorate a child's bedroom (or yours), in fact anything you like!
Weekly deals have just been updated - click on the link to the right to see offers for this week.
Thanks so much for looking at my Blog today, if you don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator I would love to be yours! If you don't have a catalogue and you would like one, please let me know and I will send one to you.
Details of the products I used to create this project can be found in my last post. If you need to order any supplies, simply use my “shop with me” button or click on the catalogue links on the right. Alternatively, contact me and I would be happy to place your order for you.
