Stampin' Up! - The Great Outdoors
Hello, this week for Coffee & Cards we will be doing something a little different; I have been challenged by a lovely lady called Jean to come up with some designs using a particular stamp set she has owned for a while but has never used! Jean very kindly lent me her stamp set as I don't have it (yet)!
The set is called The Great Outdoors - and although it has now been discontinued, I agreed to use it this week to give Jean some ideas.
We will use a watercolour 'smooshing' technique to create a unique background as well as some stamping to create this little scene:
We will also decorate the inside of the card:
Here is is the finished card with its matching envelope:
I came up with another three designs that would also be suitable for lots of different occasions.
My favourite stamp in this set is the little ant - love it! On the two occasions I have been camping I encountered ants so I thought it quite apt!!
I used lots of different inks and an aqua painter to create the backgrounds and colour items in.
Thanks so much for looking at my Blog today, if you don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator I would love to be yours! If you don't have a catalogue and you would like one, please let me know and I will send one to you.
Details of the products I used to create the project we will be doing on Monday at Coffee & Cards can be found below. If you would like to know what I used on the other three cards, just send me a message. If you need to order any supplies, simply use my “shop with me” button or click on the catalogue links on the right. Alternatively, contact me and I would be happy to place your order for you.

Do you recognise the trees in the background? They are from the set called Happy Scenes - I disguised the snowy patches on the branches with a black pen!
