Stampin' Up! - look what an absolute beginner can achieve!

Hello, this weekend I held a crafty session for a friend who wanted to make two birthday cards.  Nothing unusual in that you might think BUT, this particular person had never crafted in his life - until Sunday that is!

After carefully browsing my Blog and my Pinterest boards, a design I used at Coffee & Cards a few weeks ago was chosen.

After much careful consideration, it was decided to turn the card to produce a landscape design.  This is the first card he made for his niece:

And this is the second card made for his God Daughter:

He also stamped a matching insert for each card:

We had a lovely afternoon, (taking around 3 hours to complete both cards) and I think he did a fantastic job for a first attempt at stamping!  I am sure that the lucky recipients of these cards will be amazed that they were hand made especially for them!
