Stampin' Up! - Rose Wonder (two from one)

Hello, I had so much fun last week playing with the Rose Wonder stamp set that I could not stop!

I decided to try a different technique using just three colours of for my card:


I used the largest die from the Rose Garden Thinlets as a stencil. Using a sponge dauber, I then picked up some ink and applied through the die cut.  I also added some gentle 'dabs' around the outside of the stencil to create a shadow effect.

Here is the finished card - scuffed edges seem to be a bit of a thing with me at the moment!

After finishing the card I looked at the wreck of my desk and started to have a bit of a tidy up - the question was, what was I going to do with the left over stencil?  Obviously, I couldn't waste it so I got out some Versamark ink, clear embossing powder and my heat gun and, this is what I came up with:

Embossing the stencil has really intensified the colours and made it lovely and glossy.  Here is the finished card:

So there you have it - two cards from one!  Not sure which version I prefer (typical Libran) as I have difficulty making decisions!  Why not leave a comment below and let me know which version you prefer?
