Stampin' Up! - Swirly Birds go nautical for Father's Day!
Hello, I think I have a new favourite stamp set in Swirly Bird! I do believe I love it more than Gorgeous Grunge ....
I have been using it for a couple of weeks as part of my pre order from the new Annual Catalogue that launches on June 1st. I have so many ideas flying around in my head that I am having to write them down in case I forget!
I have been asked by a few of my regular Coffee & Card ladies if I can do another class for parents and children in time for June 16th so, here you go ... this is what I have come up with.
My Father is sadly no longer with us but, one of his passions in life was sailing his yacht ...
I highlighted some of the 'sea' with clear Wink of Stella - you can just about see it on the left. I love this wavy die cut that I have used on top of the stamping, I wrapped it around both sides of the card for a neater finish.
I decorated the inside of the card too - move lovely wavy lines with this very flexible stamp that will be useful for all sorts of things.
I left space at the top of the card for a suitable message, either Father's Day or a male birthday card but I prefer my cards blank. Here is the finished card and its matching envelope:
I used the Bakers Box Thinlets Die to make a matching gift box. I decorated the wooden peg with some of the new Designer Washi Tape (Affectionately Yours) and used a sentiment from Guy Greetings. You can just about see some of the gorgeous new Ruched Ribbon in Dapper Denim as well - another of my favourite new products!
So this is what we will be making next week:
If you would like to join me for a relaxed crafting session it would be lovely to meet you. I can be found at the following location next week:
Tuesday 31st May - Parent & Child Workshop
Venue: My home - Hartford, Huntingdon
Time: 2:30 - 4:30pm
Cost: £6.50 - includes all materials, tuition and light refreshments. You will be making the card and the gift box.
This particular set comes as part of a bundle with the matching Thinlets Dies = 10% saving and will be available from the 1st June.
Thank you so much for looking at my Blog today, if you don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator I would love to be yours! If you don't have a catalogue and you would like one, please let me know and I will send one to you.
I have added details of the majority of products I used today (some of them are not available until the beginning of June) but I will add them at a later date! I will revisit this post after the beginning of June to add details when I'm allowed!
If you need to order any supplies, simply use my “shop with me” button or click on the catalogue links on the right. Alternatively, contact me and I would be happy to place your order for you.
All orders over £20 (excluding postage) will receive a little thank you from me if you use the current Hostess Code: GN9SRT2Q (please remember to allow me to access your contact details otherwise I won't be able to contact you).
For orders over £150 please do not use the Hostess Code to ensure that you receive the benefits.
