Stampin'Up! - You Little Furball
Hello, I am sharing a card with you today that was an urgent request from my daughter Rosie for a card for her friend Sophie who she works with.
You know the sort of phone call that starts off with 'Mummmmm, can you do me a card ....'? The only information I was given was that the card had to have a grey cat on it and be quite plain and simple!
I decided to use the following colour scheme (unable to add Sweet Sugarplum until June 1st :(
I have a couple of stamp sets that have cats in them but, they are both retiring on the 31st May.
I decided to use a lovely set called You Little Furball - I need to decide whether or not to keep this one or include it in my BOGOF sale (details of my catalogue launch party and BOGOF sale can be found here:).
I stamped the cute cat head and body in Smoky Slate ink and mounted the image behind the On Film Framelit die - love this (sadly discontinued).
I used an Aqua Painter to create some grass then my favourite little stamps from Sheltering Tree for the flowers. If you look carefully at the flowers you will see a sneaky peak of Sweet Sugarplum ink and also some of the A4 cardstock in the top left hand corner!
The 'scratches' behind the image are made with a stamp from Gorgeous Grunge.
As usual, I stamped a matching insert and envelope, the cloud is an image from Sheltering Tree and was carefully placed to cover up a little smudge from a baby wipe - a happy accident as I think it looks rather nice!
And here is the completed card:
I am pleased to say that the card met with Rosie's approval (phew) and I hope that her colleague Sophie has a lovely birthday too.
Thank you so much for looking at my Blog today, if you don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator I would love to be yours! If you don't have a catalogue and you would like one, please let me know and I will send one to you.
I have added details of the majority of products I used today (some of them are not available until the beginning of June) but I will add them at a later date! I will revisit this post after the beginning of June to add details when I'm allowed!
If you need to order any supplies, simply use my “shop with me” button or click on the catalogue links on the right. Alternatively, contact me and I would be happy to place your order for you.
All orders over £20 (excluding postage) will receive a little thank you from me if you use the current Hostess Code: GN9SRT2Q (please remember to allow me to access your contact details otherwise I won't be able to contact you).
For orders over £150 please do not use the Hostess Code to ensure that you receive the benefits.
