Stampin' Up! Hang Your Stocking (2)
Hello, as promised here is the second project for Coffee & Cards that we created this week. I saw a card on Pinterest last week designed by a very talented lady called Jenny. I loved the card she made, the colour scheme was so unusual too. It made me reach for the Hang Your Stocking stamp set for the first time - thank you Jenny! You can see Jenny's card here.
For this design I used an additional stamp set - Merry Mice. This particular set is usually £15 BUT right now it is on offer with a 25% discount which means you will only pay £11.25 for this gorgeous set!
For this card I used the Shimmer White cardstock for the stocking and the centre panel. I added this cheeky little chap to the top of the stocking ...
I used a background stamp from a set called You've Got This and added some snowflakes around the edges and then as a final touch, I used a sponge dauber to add a little more colour to the edges. I coloured the mouse with Pro Markers.
I also decorated the inside of the card too. Can you see the little hanging loop on the stocking? SU think of everything don't they!
After a sprinkle of some dazzling diamonds the card was complete.

My crafty ladies have certainly enjoyed the challenge of making two different projects this week and so have I! I really enjoyed the unusual colour combination, not a usual choice for Christmas but I really rather like it.
