Stampin' Up! Onstage 2016 (November)

Hello, I have finally managed to sort out all the amazing swaps I received at Telford and, as promised, taken some photos to show you very soon.

First I thought I would share what else I got up to ... apologies for another photo heavy post.

Mo and I set off around 9am (ish) for the drive to Telford.  We did manage to get stuck in some traffic on the M6 but I confess we were so busy chatting that we hardly noticed.

We arrived just before the start of a craft workshop we had booked. This is Mo and Mikaela (my lovely Upline).

And this is Alison and Natalie busy crafting away.  The eagle eyed amongst you might just spot the slate heart project of mine on display that I did with a lovely group of ladies yesterday evening!

We made 5 gorgeous cards using the Star of Light stamp set - I have to say that this set is my absolute favourite from the Autumn Winter Catalogue (fingers crossed it returns for next year)!  I hope to share them with you very soon.

After a spot of lunch, some crafty Bingo and a raffle we decided to go for a coffee ...

This is my first Gingerbread Latte of the season - so I went large lol!

After a quick wash and brush up it was out for dinner with other team members.

Holly managed to get a selfie of us all - I think she must have extra long arms - but as there might have been a cocktail or two involved along the way I can't quite recall how she managed it!

Somehow we managed to get off to bed quite early.  After a quick breakfast we registered for the On Stage event which started at 8:30am.  We were given a bag with some goodies inside and a badge for Prize Patrol.

If only you could see inside the bag - I was lucky enough to receive a few new stamp sets, you will have to wait to see them though (sorry)!!

I did manage to get some swapping done before going into the main auditorium and then finished my swapping at lunchtime.

Whilst settling at our table I came across an amazing lady - Bonnie Thurber Farley.  Bonnie works for SU in the States and she gives the most brilliant presentations!  She very kindly agreed to a photo with the craftyducky!!

Here is a photo of the room before 400 Demonstrators descended with all their bags and baggage.

In the middle of the table was a box full of new goodies that we used for our 'make and takes'.  SU very kindly allowed everyone to share the goodies out - thank you!

We also received a lovely notebook and some Stampin' Up! pens.

This is what 400+ SU Demonstrators look like - everyone was very busy concentrating ...

We were given a copy of the Spring/Summer Catalogue and the Sale-A-Bration one too!  You should have heard all the ooh's and aah's around the room.  Both Catalogues are filled with some amazing products - I really can't wait to start using them!  I have already placed my pre order and it should arrive by the end of the week.  If all goes according to plan, I will start planning for my classes and workshops for 2017 very soon - well maybe!

Although it was a very long day (the event finished at 7:30pm) we managed to do a spot of crafting and there were lots of Prize Patrols and giveaways.

After a stop off on the motorway for some supper (and bumping into some SU friends) it was very late by the time we got back to Huntingdon - I certainly slept very well that night I can tell you!

I will do another post later in the week showing all the lovely swaps I received as there are far too many photos in the post already.
