Stampin' Up! Tin of Tags - quick and simple
Hello, this is the quick and simple card made this morning at Coffee & Cards using a simple watercolour wash technique.
I love this technique, it is soooo easy and, you get a different result every time!
I used an Aqua Painter to dampen the watercolour paper first and then picked up some Pink Pirouette ink and sort of swooshed it around a bit. A quick blast with the Heat Gun and I was ready to stamp these lovely snowflakes that I almost overlooked in the Tin of Tags stamp set.
If the watercolour paper is not completely dry, the snowflake will 'bleed' a little but I think this adds to the effect too.
A simple sentiment stamped onto a die cut shape and the card is almost complete. The addition of some silver thread and the sequins finish off this card with a bit of sparkle for Christmas.
Although the pink is starting to grow on me (HELP!) I still think I would prefer this card it blue. If I get chance, I might have a bit of a play ....
