Stampin' Up! Gift from the Garden for Coffee & Cards
Hello, next week for Coffee & Cards we will be using a stamp set called Gift from the Garden. I have not used this set for ages but a request from not one, but two of my crafty ladies to use this set got me thinking!
On Monday we will be making a really, really quick and simple card that would be perfect for batch making and would also make a lovely gift tied with some ribbon! This week we will also be lining the inside of the envelope with some pretty DSP.
The second project will be a slightly more complicated card that looks really effective and certainly makes good use of the stamp set. We will also be using another 'old' favourite of mine - Hardwood to create a background. I will bring several sentiments with me so that you can choose the ones you want.
If you would like to join me for a Coffee & Cards session, either a taster session of a slightly more advanced session (still achievable by a new crafter), you can find me at the following locations next week - please note the change of venue on Tuesday.
Monday - Taster Session (card on the left)
Venue: The Grand Piano Cafe Bar, Godmanchester
Time: 10:00 -12 pm (drop in any time but ensure that you allow an hour to complete the project).
Cost: £3.00 - includes all materials and tuition to make one project. Additional projects can be made for just £2.50 each
Tuesday - 2 Projects
Venue: The Cottage on Merryland, 12a Merryland, St Ives (near Nelsons Head Public House)
Time: 2:00 - 4:00 pm
Cost: £5.50 - includes all materials and tuition to make 2 projects.
Thursday - 2 Projects
Venue: The Grand Piano Cafe Bar, Godmanchester
Time: 2:00 - 4:00 pm
Cost: £5.50 - includes all materials and tuition to make 2 projects.
