Stampin' Up! Tin of Tags

Hello, if you have seen my facebook page recently you will know I have been having a bit of a tidy up in my craft room.

I realised that I had lots of partially used sheets of jewels ...

After a post on facebook I realised I was not the only one and so, I set about finding a way to use up some of the larger jewels.  You can find all the ideas and tips in my faccebook thread from the 15th December.

I also came across a reel of unused ribbon (scandalous) and some snowflakes that I had punched out a few weeks ago with the Flower Medallion punch and then somehow managed to forget about.

I challenged myself to find a way to use them and decided to make up some cards for my friends at the Women's Institute - many of them who craft regularly with me.

The large jewel fits perfectly into the centre of the snowflake!  I used one of my favourite colour combinations - Real Red and Soft Sky which I think looks sort of Scandanavian ish.

The sentiment is also from the Tin of Tags stamp set - I have really enjoyed using this set this year; so many useful sentiments and, not just for Christmas either!

Here is the completed card and envelope - of course I had to stamp a red snow flake on the envelope and on the inside too!  One down, 29 to go ...
