Stampin' Up! Washi Tape Holder - tutorial
Hello, have seen this image at the bottom of all my blog posts during February and wondered what this months FREE gift was?
I thought I would share with you today details of the gift that all my lovely customers received during February when they placed an order over £20. It's just my way of saying thank you for choosing me as your Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I really appreciate it!
One of my regular crafters has recently sorted out her craft room, everything is beautifully organised and labelled so that got me thinking ...
I use Washi Tape quite often (it hides a multitude of sins) but I am often frustrated when it rolls around my desk :(
I found this brilliant tutorial on Pinterest for a Washi tape holder made by Sam Hammond Donald aka Pootles - she very kindly gave me permission to share this link to the tutorial just in case you want to make one yourself!
You can find it here.
You can make a Washi holder for three or five rolls - the tutorial gives instructions for double holders but I cut mine in half.
The little boxes came together so quickly. I stamped the outside with Gorgeous Grunge in Crumb Cake ink and die cut a quick tag. I used some of the beautiful ribbon that is still available (while stocks last), FREE with a £45 order. I also used the now discontinued Bitty Accent Punch.
I always say thank you to my customers with a handmade card - this is what I came up with this month. It is a similar idea to this card I shared in January using Dragonfly Dreams.
This is the version I made to go with the Washi Tape Holder.
I am on a bit of a mission to use Gorgeous Grunge at the moment - I will not be happy if it is discontinued when the new Catalogue launches in June :(
This neat little tape holder will keep everything in place and handy on any desk - I gave my craft room a bit of a tidy up this morning too - not sure what came over me!
If you have a go at making a Tape Holder for your craftroom, I would love to see a photo ...
I've not decided what my customer thank you gift will be for March - if you have an idea why not leave a comment below or send me a message?
I will post details of the new Hostess Code for March tomorrow but in the meantime, the current code is shown below. Details of the products I used for this project can also be found below.
Happy crafting!
Susan xx

Thanks for posting the link to the tutorial. I have more washi tape on order that's due to be delivered on Friday, so I think this might be a crafty job for the weekend. Oooh, I can coordinate the box to the washi tape since I have the relevant DSP. Happy bunny here
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure Bev - the tutorial is very easy to follow and, yes you can coordinate the box to the washi tape too! I would love you to share a photo or two of your makes on my Craftyducky facebook page! xx
