Stampin' Up! By The Tide - in colour

Hello,  my crafty ladies have had so much fun with this particular card design. I thought as I was doing a repeat of the projects from last week I would show you something a little different.

Basically the same card, but look how different it looks in colour!

Do you remember the photo I shared on Thursday of the card that Kath made - the one showing the brilliant effect on her moon ...

... well I have somehow managed to recreate the effect on my birds!

I stamped the birds in Smoky Slate ink first but then I decided it did not look right, so I inked up the stamp again but this time with Basic Black - stamping slightly to the side to create a shadow effect.

Imagine my surprise when I lifted the stamp up and saw this!

I am still not sure how it happened but, I really like it!!

Doesn't this version look very different?

I would love you to leave me a comment below to let me know which version of this card you prefer.  As usual, I like them both but I think if I really had to decide, I prefer the coloured version as I love white cards and white backgrounds!

After some stamping on the envelope and the inside my card was finished.  I showed it to a few people this morning and they preferred the coloured version but all of them said that the black and grey version would be perfect for a man!

Amazing to see how my card has been cased and travels via the Internet! Great to see your take on it. Thought I would stop by to leave a comment X
