Stampin' Up! Daisy Delight - stepped up

Hello, I have had so much fun this week with the watercolour smoosh technique used on this project.  Such a simple idea but very effective and I am pleased to say that everyone loved it!

I got the idea for my card after seeing a stunning card on Pinterest created by a very talented lady called Narelle who is a SU Demo living in Australia. Follow this link: to see the card that Narelle made - doesn't it look different in pink?

I decided to use a different technique and colour scheme to Narelle but my card also follows the design layout that was part of the Just Add Ink Challenge #360 that was designed by Narelle too!

If you were unable to join me this week and would like to try this technique you will find a quick tutorial here: on a blog post I did in 2015.

After stamping the daisies we used an Aqua Painter to dampen each petal and move the ink around a little to create a softer look to the image.

Can you see the sparkly jewel in the centre of the daisy?  It is something that will be in the new catalogue ....!!!

Here is the completed card and envelope - I think it is one of my all time favourite creations.

Since working on my sample I added an extra daisy (offset) to the envelope - it looks much better!

Here are some of the cards that were made this afternoon - boy was it hot!
