Stampin' Up! Paisley & Posies -stepped up

Hello, here are the details of the second project for this week.  All my crafty ladies have really enjoyed this cheerful colour combination - something to cheer us up whilst we paddle around in all this rain we are getting at the moment!

We used a variety of stamps from the set to create our own background - each card looked different.  Using stamps is a great way to make your own backgrounds.  We stamped on Whisper White Thick - if you stamp on a large piece of card you can also make coordinating boxes or cut up into useful pieces for card fronts etc.

I used a Thank You sentiment on my card  and then stamped two tiny flowers, I also added a jewel for a bit of sparkle.

Here is the completed card and envelope.

We also stamped along one edge of the envelope and on the inside so that everything coordinates nicely.

Here are some of the cards made earlier today - some lovely colour combinations!

Next week I offered my regular crafters the chance to choose which set they would like to use.  There was an overwhelming response for large flowers - and a particular request to use a new stamp set called Daisy Delight that is available from the 2nd June.  I had a bit of a play with Daisy Delight last week as I was working on some samples for my launch event on the 2nd June.

I will work on a couple of samples and post details of the projects available next week over the weekend.  In the meantime, to whet your appetites here is a photo of a tag I made!
