Stampin' Up! Oh So Eclectic - quick & simple
Hello, here are the details of our first Coffee & Cards project this week, something a little different and certainly colourful! You could certainly create a batch of these very quickly for all sorts of occasions.
We used a simple watercolour technique to colour the flowers. After dampening the flower with an Aqua Painter you pick up some colour from the lid of the ink pad and then allow the ink to flood your chosen area.
I was so careful colouring my flowers, staying inside the lines and being careful not to add too much water. When I had finished I did not like the card! I realised that it was too neat and tidy looking so, I added some more colour just around the outside of the outlines. Now I like it (a lot)!
I chose to add a Happy Birthday sentiment from a stamp set called Happy Birthday Gorgeous - this particular set will be making an appearance at a Coffee & Cards session soon.
Here is the completed card.
We stamped on the envelope and the inside too.
