Stampin' Up! Eastern Beauty - stepped up
Hello, here are the details of the final Christmas in July Coffee & Cards project from this week using this very versatile bundle.
I offered a choice of background colour this week; Cherry Cobbler or Garden Green. I am pleased to say that Garden Green was the resounding favourite!
We made many variations of this card - so easy to do as the Eastern Palace Suite is so versatile. I saw on a facebook group recently that one lady had spent an entire afternoon die cutting with these Thinlets and she came up with 47 different combinations! After the session had finished this afternoon Clare stayed behind and had a play with the Thinlets - she was very impressed!
Here is one card with a red background...
The flower on this card is made up of two stamped images (slightly offset), one gold die cut and a final layer of a simple stamped flower die cut around the edges.
This card has a green background...
The flower on this card was also die cut around the inside of the flower.
Both flowers were topped off with one of the stunning gold faceted gems.
Here are both cards together, both lovely (well, I think so) and not just for Christmas either - they would also make very nice Birthday cards too!
The Christmas craftyducky has enjoyed her outings this week but she will be put away safely for a few weeks before we start on Christmas projects in earnest!
Details of the products I used for these projects can be found at the end of this post.
Thanks to everyone who joined me for a Coffee & Cards session this week. Next week we will be using Dragonfly Dreams - I will post details of the projects shortly.
