Stampin' Up! Colorful Season - customer thank you cards

Hello, one of the things I love to do at this time of year (well, any time of year really), is to walk down to the river to feed the ducks. The weather has been so mild the last few days and the leaves are truly starting to fall so off I went - obviously I had to take the long way home and have a good swish didn't I?

I took inspiration for all the beautiful colours around me for this months customer thank you cards.

I still had some of the stunning leaves I created earlier this month - I did mention that I might have got a little carried away making them!  (You can find details of them here).

Mixed metals seem to be everywhere at the moment.  If you are like me, you may have overlooked these rolls of solid and printed foil Washi Tape on page 37 with the general excitement of the new Autumn / Winter Catalogue but boy, are they stunning!

So along with the Washi Tape, I used some of the Gold Foil and some of the Copper Metallic Thread as accents for my cards.

I used one of the background stamps from Timeless Textures with some Cajun Craze ink and two strips of the Washi Tape for my background.

I used one of my glossy leaves and added a die cut golden leaf, slightly offset to tie in with the metallic of the Washi Tape.  I also added a 'coil' of copper thread underneath the leaves.

I used the same background stamp and a couple of strips of Washi Tape on the inside of my card and the envelope.

I really enjoyed making these cards and I was so pleased with how they turned out - I love them and so did my customers!  In fact, several of them liked them so much that they want to make some too!
